Anti-Super-mom

My journey of healing childhood trauma amid a divorce, while trying to resist the high expectations placed on mothers and re-learning how to prioritize myself. The Oxford Dictionary defines super mom as, " An exemplary or exceptional mother, especially one who successfully manages a home and brings up children while also having a full- time job." I tried to do it all and failed. I am putting my story out there so mothers asking for help is no longer perceived as shameful or a weakness.

Navigating Motherhood with ADHD: A Personal Journey

THIS, this is why I wanted to start a personal blog. I was one of those girls who grew up hearing how wonderful motherhood is and that nothing compares to having your own children. It was more of an expectation than a choice that I would have children, and as I got older my parents…
